A sweet teen romance that barely registered on YouTube's radar - the handful of reviewers who found it mostly liked what they saw.
Story
Thella Kaagitham (also spelled Tella Kagitham) is a Telugu musical romance marking debutant director Ramesh Bandreddi's first film, starring Harsh Roshan and Nakshatra Bogapati. The story follows a mistake made by two teenagers in love and its consequences, built around a message that problems like this should be shared with parents rather than hidden - the title itself, 'white paper,' is used in the film as a metaphor for a young life a single mistake can stain. Music is by Vijai Bulganin. Released in Telugu on 02 Oct 2026.
What works
- The lead performances (Harsh Roshan, Nakshatra) are repeatedly praised for showing real maturity in how they play a teenage relationship
- The hero's friend character is singled out as a comedic standout by more than one reviewer
- The pre-climax-to-climax emotional stretch and its background score draw specific praise across nearly every review
- The film's core message - that teenagers should confide in parents rather than hide a mistake - is repeatedly credited for landing with real weight
What doesn't
- The second half is called notably weaker or slower than the first by more than one reviewer, even those who liked the film overall
- Very limited coverage - every usable review came from a small, low-subscriber channel; the few larger channels that covered it stuck to crowd-reaction 'public talk' clips rather than a structured review
- One reviewer's verdict trailed off ambiguously after a lukewarm note on the opening act, impossible to confidently characterize either way
What each reviewer said
- cine info 08 (Telugu) — Good Watch, 6.5/10
“A beautiful love story with good emotions, calling the second half noticeably stronger than the first and praising the hero-heroine chemistry and friend-character comedy. Admits it can feel a little slow in places. Bottom line: a good watch for fans of fresh love stories, with a climax BGM that lands a genuine emotional high.” Watch the review on YouTube - Name is Vijay (Telugu) — Good Watch, 6.5/10
“A short premiere-show reaction calling the first half superb and the second half a slowdown, but still good overall, with comedy, emotion and a clear message throughout. Bottom line: a straightforward thumbs-up.” Watch the review on YouTube - Shiva Vibes (Telugu) — One-Time Watch, 6/10
“Praises the director for addressing teenage relationships and the importance of talking to parents clearly and without confusing the audience, and credits both leads with real maturity in their performances. But is upfront that the second half 'is about to fall apart' and didn't work for this reviewer as well as the first. Bottom line: 'an average film but a great film' - you'll still walk out with a good feeling.” Watch the review on YouTube - Cinema Manishi (Telugu) — Good Watch, 7/10
“A warm, if brief, take calling it a cute love story with 2000s-style vibes, liking both halves and specifically praising the pre-climax and climax scenes and the film's central song as touching. Bottom line: genuinely liked it, no real complaints raised.” Watch the review on YouTube - Filmy Talks (Telugu) — Good Watch, 7.5/10
“An enthusiastic, fan-style reaction that calls the teenage love story genuinely pure and says the sensitive subject matter was handled beautifully, praising the father character and the friend-circle scenes specifically. Bottom line: '100% watchable' - says they teared up by the end.” Watch the review on YouTube
