How we make our Stocks pages
Everything in our Stocks section is for education and information. We explain what is happening in Indian markets in plain English, show where every fact comes from, and never tell you what to buy or sell.
GenXT Labs is not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser or research analyst. Nothing on these pages is investment advice. For decisions about your money, speak to a SEBI-registered adviser.
What we never do
- No buy, sell or hold calls on any stock, sector or fund, and no price targets.
- No live prices: every figure is a dated snapshot, and the date is shown on the page.
- No paid placements. No company can pay to be included in, or kept out of, any page.
- No invented numbers. If a fact can't be verified, it is left out.
Page by page
Daily market brief
Written by an AI research assistant (Anthropic's Claude) that works through a fixed set of written rules: it searches recent reporting from sources such as NSE, BSE, RBI, Business Standard, Economic Times, Moneycontrol, Mint and Reuters, includes only facts it found in those results, and cross-checks notable numbers against a second source where possible.
Index figures are the previous session's official closing levels for Sensex and Nifty 50, each confirmed by two sources; GIFT Nifty, when shown, is labelled as a pre-market indication. The "market mood" is a read on the overall market only. "In the news today" lists companies with a scheduled event or news that day, as facts only.
The brief publishes automatically; a person does not check each one before it goes live. If the assistant cannot verify enough real news, it skips the day instead of filling space, and it skips market holidays.
IPO tracker
Issue sizes, price bands, dates and subscription figures compiled the same way from exchange filings, prospectuses and financial news. Subscription numbers are a snapshot from the morning of the date shown and keep moving until an issue closes.
Penny stocks (under ₹100)
A fixed, published screen run on Screener.in data: price under ₹100 plus minimum levels of return on capital, sales and growth, and a P/E cap. Every stock that passes is listed; none is hand-picked. Passing a screen is not a recommendation, and low-priced shares can be especially volatile.
Bonds
Real bond examples with terms from RBI notifications and issuer documents, shown with the "as of" date they were last checked.
Calculators, Learn and StockLens
The calculators only do the arithmetic for the assumptions you enter; real returns vary. Learn explains how markets work in plain English; StockLens shows how companies are screened, using quarter-end data bands rather than live prices.
Creator watch
A record of what well-known Indian finance YouTubers said, credited to them and linked to the original video. We summarise; we don't score, rank or endorse their views.
